SRP Review

A. I did pretty well on the biography section of the paper. Finding things on Jane Austen was easy due to the fact that she was so popular. A part I did not really do well on was the personal analysis backed up by quotations. I did not do to well on the end of the paper but this is mostly due to lack of time and time management. The biggest problem i had was that i waited to the last minute to try and get everything done. I also wasn’t making copies of my sources and printing them out so i was panicking. The paper wasn’t a huge stress until i got a little behind on my rough draft.
B. My advice would be to keep up on the dates and when stuff is due. Also do not count on being able to do most of it at school because it is your responsibility to get things done on your own time. Use the time they do give you in class because they do not give it very often. Don’t wait till the last minute and try to turn it in early it would make you feel a lot better about your paper.

Lady gaga or Christina?

The new ablem was put out and her number one song is crazy and whild. Christinas single "not myself tonight" is already becoming a favorite but many are talking about the video produced with it. In this video you see many things that Gaga has recently done in her videos. Gaga has always had the outragious styles that are weird and cool at the same time. Its what she is know for. But if you go back and take away a baby and a husband you will see a Christina that was just as wild for that period. Although the style of music has changed in the last few months to include new fads, and christina is just following, the resemblance between the two is too close. so the question is who is the coppy cat? Lady Gaga or Christina.
Many Say gaga copied christina because she was out first but i think the opposite because the video has the same routine as many of GaGas put together.

the lost kitty

I get lucy when she was just three weeks old. I had to take care of here and feed her through a bottle for a little while.Everyday lucy would come and find me when i got home from school. Lucy liked to play with yarn, her favorite was a pink ball with green in it. i would play with her after i gave her her warmed bottle of milk. lucy would then lay up in a ball at my feet while i worked on school work. Lucy was a p[layfull cat that sometimes liked to play hide and seek, so when i couldnt find her one day i wasnt too worried. i went to my room and started my school work. When she still didnt show up i was starting to get worried and asked my mother if she had seen lucy anywere. she said that no she had not but that their was a stray cat in the house earlier and she put it in the basement so it wouldnt fight with our cat.
Later that night i went downstairs to see the stray and make sure Lucy wasnt down their. When i oppened the door a meow called to me and i looked to see a cat that was the same size as lucy only it wasnt her. I looked around but couldnt find her. i started to play with the other kitten. she pounced on the pink and green ball as soon as she saw it. It mad me sad that i couldnt find my little Lucy, and reminded me of how much she loved this ball. I looked closer at the stray and saw on her chest a little zipper and was worried. When i pulled it down i saw a diffrent color fur under the first layer. I coutinued and was shock too see that this little cat was my Lucy.
When i went to tell my mom my brother was standing their with her and was laughing as i carried my cat and the fake fur covering into the room. I knew that my brother had tricked me and vowed to get him back.

Battaling abuse from behind a mask

 Behind the mask is a TV show that has just been started for women from Afganistan.This show allows them to talk about the situations that they have faced as a married woman. During the show the woman will wear a mask to conceal her identitie for her safety. The mask is two colors, white and blue. The white represents innocence and the blue represents the oppretion of women.
 This show started by Sami Mahdi a 28 year old who watched abuse in his home for many years. He wanted to help women who are oppressed and dont have anyone to talk to.
 One of the women that cxame on the show is Saraya. This woman was just 15 when she was married to a known rapist and criminal. She asked hyer father why he was doing this to her and he simply said it was his choice and she was at the age of marrige.
 After a few years Sararya had three children and in a abusieve marrige. Her husband started bringing home women that hewould rape at their house and her oldest child started to ask questions. When this started she took her children and ran away. She is constantly on the lookout for the man who has done so much harm to her.
 Another of the woman on the show was just 12 when she was given to a man as a compensation for a death. Her older brother killed a man and in stead of him serving the concequences, her father gave her to the other family for payment. She was continually beaten and tortured. 
 This show was put into action to help the women that come but no one is sure if they can actually jhelp them or not.

Celine Dion: Twins Tiring, but an intense joy.

Celine talks to People Magazine ten weeks after giving birth to twin boys, named Nelson and Eddy.
 In an interview Celine expressed her thanks to her mother and her sister for all the help they have been to0 her during this time. They have been especially helpfull with the shopping and house work.
 Celine says "i didnt have these children to not take care of them, but to give myselt to them 200-300 percent," she explained.
 Unlike some hollywood crew she is changing the diapers and doing the feeding. she says that those things cant be done by someone elese, even though it is tirering it is an intense joy.
 The secret to doing it is just taking it day by day. she also explains that for her the hard part is feeding them. Celine says that being stressed only makes it harder for her to breastfeed. But she finds herself in comical situations at this time.
 After giving birth she says that she experienced loss of appitite and mood swings, which others made her aware of. Her mother also noted that she had moments of "lifelessness" but assured her it was entirerly normal.
 She is begining to reherse for her new CD coming out in march, but isnt going to push herself to hard.
 In reality she explained that she has hardly had time to take care of herself and eating sensibly is her main focus and goal right now.
